Steelman Ovens for burn-off
Steelman ovens have a top down heating system that has no burner box on the floor. This design gives good temperature control for sensitive loads. It also allows for easy cleaning of the oven since there is nothing on the floor to get in the way. Simply roll the cart out and sweep out the oven.
The ovens have an automatic process control which allows the oven to operate with little operator input. This means less operator error. The integrated controller senses the rate that the temperature rises and controls the oven accordingly. So, if the oven goes over-temperature or if it is heating up at too fast of a rate due to combustible gasses the water spray will come on and cool the oven off.
The automatic process control system throttles back the burners to control the heating rate. Therefore, the operator does not have to set a temperature ramp the oven will do it automatically.
Hot air enters the oven from the top of the oven and the waste soot and partially burned organics enter the afterburner through the bottom of the oven. They are then burned completely in the thermal oxidizing chamber.
Steelman Ovens also have a special diffuser that circulates the air within the processing chamber. Because of this, there is a more even heating of the load.
