What materials are compatible with Powder Strip?
Tanks can be made of steel or stainless steel. They can also be made of polyethylene or polypropylene.
It is safe on Teflon, and some fluorocarbons, polypropylene, polyethylene, and silicone rubbers.
All tubing used to pump and handle solutions should be made of polypropylene or polyethylene. Care should be used in selecting pumps since many seal or gasket materials may not be compatible.
Do not add any material to dilute the Powder Strip bath. Most solvents will cause the bath to stop working. Only use recommended additives with the bath.
